Alarm Registration
False burglar and fire alarms are the most common occurrences that officers and firefighters respond to in the City of Byram. In many instances, alarm companies do not have current information on hand for property owners. The City of Byram requires all alarms, including those not monitored by a service, to be registered annually with the Byram Police Department. This insures that we are able to contact property owners in the event of false alarms that are in need of maintenance.
